November 6, 2008 Mattmo celebrated the opening of their new office in Shanghai, China with an exclusive party together with Massive Music. The Massive Mattmo Medal Party was held at the newly restyled ArtLab of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in People's Park, at the very heart of Shanghai. Next to contacts from the Shanghai region people from as far as Beijing and Hong Kong attended as well as a delegation of the City of Amsterdam headed by Amsterdam Mayor Job Cohen. Cohen congratulated Monique Mulder of Mattmo and Hans Brouwer of Massive Music, both representatives of Amsterdam's Creative Industry with their initiative to establish offices in Shanghai.
