Pluijm op Pad is a televison series about food culture in Europe. Rene Pluijm is in search of local and regional food culture. Chef Rene Pluijm looks for the original path and natural food treasures of Europe in \"Pluijm op pad\". Fishermen, farmers, sausage makers, wine growers, chefs and special restaurants, Rene Pluijm looks for them and emerges in the kitchen at the end of each episode. He visited Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain in 14 episodes.

The series is also added to the KLM airline inflight program. The book Pluijm op pad is a spin-of of the television program about foodculture in Europe. The book is a mix of travel and cooking information with more then 80 recipes.
